Bioflavonoids are polyphenols found abundantly in plants. There are several subgroups of flavonoids, each with its own specific role. Bioflavonoids are best known for their antioxidant properties. People who do not get enough flavonoids usually do not consume enough fruits and vegetables. Bioflavonoids contribute to better absorption of Vitamin C.
