What to eat before or during exercise?
Do you need quick energy? Then choose Isomix sports drink or an energy gel. The energy will be available almost immediately.
With a bar, it may take a bit longer for the energy to be released. (Fruit Bar: 30-40 min & Energy Bar: 60 min) These are therefore ideal to eat before exercise.
The Endurance Bar, on the other hand, is an ideal energy bar to consume during exercise.
Our Energy Fruit is the ideal compromise between a gel & an energy bar. The energy will be available almost as quickly as with a gel.
Do you prefer not to eat during exercise? Then you can opt for Alphamax, where you take the necessary energy via your water bottle.
Good to know: each of the above products (except Alphamax, Carboloader & Guaranol) contains 30g of carbohydrates per dose. This already makes it a lot easier to calculate how much you need during your exercise ;-)
Need a caffeine boost?
With 160mg of caffeine (2 to 3 cups of coffee), derived from the guarana berry, Guaranol provides a real energy boost. Its effect will be felt after 20-30 min. After 4h, only half of the caffeine will have worn off, so you can safely take it before a longer effort.
